Renji is often as eccentric as they come. He varies from smug to cockey despite often seeming like a angsty depressed person when he's beaten in sword fighting. [Usualy with Ichigo].
With friends he's always faithful and hates letting go of anyone. He tends to be more of a big brotherly figure to everyone then a friend, always wanting to know that he's there for them despite often getting into conflicts or quick brawls.
History:
Renji Abarai, a muggle born to the slums of the Tokyo grew up an orphan with several other children until he was able to come to Hogwarts. In the time before school he would often steal food from local vendors by means of magic, making him a rather special child among the others. Playing more with his magic he struggled to be the best that he could having a profound knack for wandless magic. During such times he also became rather adept to swordsmanship.
As soon as he recived his letter to Hogwarts he was skeptical about leaving the comfort of his family, however, majority of them had died off, killed by dark wizards for being muggles with powers, so he left for Hogwarts to become a better Wizard to avenge and never forget what the past held.
There, he met the eccentric Ichigo Kurosaki and the two bonded in a brotherly fasion that often ends in awkward situations and brawls but their friendship remains true, just like those from the past, for Renji.
